今天確定了Intel日後將要推出的六核心產品時間點，就是在2010年的第二季。這六核心處理器的代號是Gulftown、採用32nm製程，可以相容於目前的X58晶片組與LGA 1366腳座。
它使用的是Westmere微架構，並且支援Hyper-Threading技術，所以屆時它將會擁有6 Cores、12 Threads的處理能力。
